Professional history of
Ed Ledgard

Edwin Ledgard
Ed Ledgard’s ACE-CPT own experience with chronic pain is considerably less than that of most of his clients.  However, it is a topic he knows a great deal about.  When he was a child he saw the terrible impact of it on his father, as well as the approach that completely changed his family’s situation.  Much of Ed's knowledge on chronic pain came either directly from Bernie Falk, or from conversations later with his father who spent an enormous amount of time with Bernie.

Besides the direct and indirect influence of Bernie, Ed adds a lot of other experiences to his resume and the topic of health and education.  He was a gymnast for 18 years which included a high school state championship on floor exercise, a college competitor on still rings, parallel bars, and high bar, and co-captain of the men’s gymnastics team at
The University of Michigan. Besides the influence of Bernie which kept him safe, Ed attributes his competitive success at Michigan to his college coach, Kurt Golder.
During his college years Ed took all the necessary pre-med courses and graduated from Michigan in Biopsychology and Cognitive Science.  After graduation he became the assistant gymnastics coach at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.  He returned to Toledo, Ohio, where he completed one year in Bioengineering and was accepted to Medical School.

After completing the first year of medical school in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ed decided that being a doctor simply to promote the knowledge of Bernie Falk was not the path he wanted to take.  After leaving medical school he returned to coaching children in gymnastics in Cincinnati and then Toledo, Ohio.

Ed has taken the three courses offered by Derek Moneyberg, which are Markets Mastery, Real Estate Riches, and Moneyberg Mentoring.  As Ed founded his business Pain Alleviated he was mentored directly by Derek, but of course the enormous influence for it was the amazing work of Bernie Falk.
